PATRIOTIC PREAMBLE TO JULY 4:

The Pollock Pines Camino Military and Public Safety

Appreciation Night

July 3, 2009 - 7:00 p.m.

The Pollock Pines Camino Military and Public Safety Appreciation Night will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2009, at 6361 Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines. This event will allow the community to express its grateful appreciation to veterans, active duty service men and women, and our law enforcement and public safety personnel, including El Dorado County Sheriff’s office, Placerville Police, CHP, El Dorado County Fire, Cal Fire, STARS, CERTS, US Forestry Law Enforcement, our Fire Safe Councils – in short, all who keep us safe and preserve our freedoms.

The program will include excellent patriotic music and guest speaker Chaplain Brigadier General Donald Crowley, retired.

We are asking all who reside in these two communities to acknowledge and honor those who serve us. We are asking representatives from all of these agencies to attend and give us the privilege of just saying thanks. Your presence would be so very much appreciated.

This event is sponsored by the Community Economic Development Association of PP, PP/Camino Rotary, Camino Community Church, Pollock Pines Community Center, Dogwood Garden Club, Camino Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Christian Life Center, Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church, Pollock Pines Christian Fellowship, and Pollock Pines Community Church.
